For the week of May 29 thru June 4, 2010 By Sara O'Donnell Another week has passed and so has a month. Not sure where May went but I am looking forward to June. We’ve had another great week here at TMC. Thank you again Augusta Baptist and Fairfield LDS Churches for coming to share worship with us. A very nice lunch on Memorial Day, to bad we weren’t able to enjoy it outside. However I do want to thank Amber and the fantastic kitchen staff for seeing to it that all the residents enjoyed a great meal. In fact to all the staff that did work on the holiday a BIG Thank you. Tuesday found us once again getting our nails done and Dee was here to take care of everyone’s hair. I am happy to say no one has any polish on their fingers or has to wear a bag over their hair, thanks to Dee and Norma. George McMurry was here on Wednesday to play and sing for us. We are all so glad to have him back in town as everyone enjoys him so much. George, you are so good at helping everyone remember those great old tunes. Keeps our toes tapping. With lots of games , throw in a movie as well as a Back Roads of Montana and that pretty much finishes our week. No wait today is National Doughnut Day so of course we had to have doughnuts to end a wonderful week. Even if there were more Maple Bars than doughnuts, I am pretty sure there is a National Maple Bar Day too. We may have been a little early but who cares. There were even enough for everyone in the hospital and the clinic. Lots of happy people. Oh, I almost forgot but I want to thank Chris at the Log Cabin and Sharon of Heartland Flowers for the help with the flowers for our Cutting Garden. You were both so very generous both with your time and plants. Thank you. We are going to try to plant next week after I till the dirt. That in itself should be fun to watch, well maybe not. It will be so nice to have some flowers that we can pick to brighten the rooms and tables. I just have to work on the deer that just this week have decided to come into the backyard. I will keep talking to them. I will keep you all posted on how the DEER WHISPERER does. Enjoy your week and good health to you all.
